Approaching this junction from Auchinleck, the left fork follows T102 towards Catrine, the right fork T19 for Sorn and Galston.

This stone is below the level of the road and almost inaccessible within a hawthorn hedge.
Its location is a few steps to the right of the entrance to Glenshamrock with its warning of keeping to the path on account of old mine workings.
